is seeking a Logistics Operations Associate.
Ferrari specializes in the worldwide shipment of jewelry and luxury goods, providing one-stop solutions for the logistics management of high-value merchandise.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Logistics Clerk to join our team at our Lawrence, New York facility.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, sorting, and using pallet jacks and forklifts.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently pick, pack, and sort items for shipment according to company standards and procedures Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve goods Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of orders Flexibility to work some weekends and overtime as needed to meet business demands Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks Attention to detail in order accuracy and inventory management Requirements:
1 to 2 years of experience in warehouse logistics or related field Proficiency in using pallet jacks and forklifts, with appropriate certifications Strong time management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure Availability to work weekends and overtime as required Physical capability to handle heavy lifting and perform manual labor Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role preferred Proficient in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems Familiarity with order picking and packing processes Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting is a plus Excellent organizational and time management skills
