The Club, opened in 1924, underwent a full redesign in the late 1960s that utilized additional acreage to lengthen the course to its present 6,500 yards.
This is a key operations management role with the Club, reporting to the Head Golf Professional.
Job Summary Manage all golf and golf-related activities and business.
Job Tasks (Duties) Assists Head Golf Professional in instructing and with merchandising, on-course, cart, and personnel management responsibilities Maintains golf shop inventory control system Assists members by providing and interpreting golf policies, rules and regulations Conducts golf clinics Manages the daily opening and closing of golf operations Selects, trains, supervises, schedules, and evaluates the golf shop manager, starters, rangers, cart maintenance, bag, range, and cart attendants Assists in the coordination of tournaments and special events Coordinates junior golf activities and provides golf instruction to all Performs starter and ranger duties as needed Maintains and manages USGA handicap system for members Ensures course is properly marked Attends staff meetings Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the head golf professional and GM Supervises Golf Shop Salesperson/Manager Cart and Bag Staff Starter(s) Rangers(s) Job Type:
